Two best friends, João and António, are passionate about ramen, an emblematic Japanese broth.
This film tells the story of how this passion began when they were teenagers and their adventures around the world in search of the best ramen. Their love for this dish led them to open the Ajitama Supper Club in 2017, where they began to develop their own récipe, and test it with friends and strangers. The success was enormous, they served more than 600 people over the course of a year and a half, and the waiting list was growing at a gallop and out of control rate.
Determined to share their love with even more people, they quit their conventional 9am to 5pm jobs, went for top training in Tokyo with Japan's top sensei, and finally opened Ajitama Ramen Bistro, their first ramen restaurant - the culmination of a dream.
