My name is Francisco, and I’m a Portuguese filmmaker drawn to stories rooted in people, memory and place.

Working across documentary, children’s series and branded content, I approach cinema through an observational and human-centred lens, often focusing on rural territories and everyday life.

In 2019, I directed "Terra Ardida", which won the Sophia Student Award and became the first student film to join the National Cinema Plan. I’ve since worked with brands like Banco Alimentar, Primor, Rock in Rio Lisboa, Unilever, Decathlon, and TAP, and directed several children’s series for RTP2, including "A Minha Cena" and "Aconteceu Mesmo!", selected for the Prix Jeunesse International 2024.
